The Death of Doctor Kingsley

 A Farce in two Acts

By Affton Students: Xander Ertmann and Parker Brust

Synopsis

The Death of Doctor Kingsley is a farce written by two high school students. The show encaptures two playwrights in their late teens as one of them (the character Parker) is struggling to finish writing his show. He invites his playwright friend Zander to help him out as he is going through his creative process of writing. The entire first act shows the scene as Parker is writing it and trying to come up with new ideas. Unfortunately neither are good at writing shows. The show continues to fill with nonsensical plots, characters, and pretentious themes. Parker and Zander start to argue, their arguments keep escalating until in a heated event Parker somehow gets trapped in the crazy wacky show that he was writing. Parker must survive in the dangerous random show and escape before he is the one written out.
